Joan Edelstein devised a process to make her scarves that involves seven to twelve steps. It includes laying and mitering the silk border, printing of thematic fabrics, cutting and layering the various pieces, sewing, finishing and pressing. Hand-made in her Texas studio, each scarf is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, you might want to hang it on the wall between wearing!
The open work style is strong, stitched threads leave lots of airy space, featherweight, so even gals who resist the bulk of solid fabric scarves will like these!
