Song birds are the latest addition to our home accessory line. Our fascination with birds and antique found objects is what inspired us for this collection. The large ravens were originally used for hunting decoys and were carved in the 30’s and 40’s and the smaller song birds were carved in the 1950’s. The original decoys were passed on to us in 1991 and in 2006 we began to turn each bird into an eclectic, one of a kind piece of art. Each bird is hand painted and then embellished with vintage materials. The unusual relics we use such as croquet balls, binoculars and old toys give each inspiring bird their own personality.
