“My inspiration for glass comes from a sincere admiration of Venetian glass created in the 18th, and 19th centuries. Glass is very personal to me, being a medium that requires talent and a great number of years of persistence to accomplish works that relate natural elegance. I would like to recognize my original instructors, John Elias, Tom Kreager, Lino Tagliapietra and most recently, Elio Quarisa and Dino Rosin for their inspiration and encouragement. It is my intention to continue to challenge myself to work in the mysterious, Venetian tradition of glass blowing.”
