Artists Statement

“My glass work centers on an idea of good design. I believe that any good design requires a concept, whether or not its purpose is sculpture or function. I push myself to explore the world around me, creating new form and the opportunity for new applications. 

My work evolves with each piece and project as I explore new techniques and materials. I am currently exploring the workings of the body and reproduction in my blown, slumped and engraved glass work. Brought up by a mechanical and chemical engineer, my interests in scientific ideas are deep routed.

I am inspired by the honesty of architecture, the cleanliness of industrial design, and the possibilities of science."
