View all of this artist's items Doug Sweet established his own studio in 1974. “Karuna Studio” is located near the family farm in Ohio. Doug is fascinated by the spontaneity and fire involved in glass blowing. A master of classic Italian glass making techniques such as Murrini, Millefiori and glass cane, Sweet's one-of-a-kind work conveys the sensuality of fluid glass using traditional glassblowing methods that are thousands of years old. Doug’s wife, Paulette Hall, brings her expertise in stained glass, color theory, design and business administration to Karuna Studio.
