Driven by a passion to create beautiful things for all to enjoy, Stephen Kitras began work as a glass blower in 1988, in Fergus, Ontario. Along with Stephen, his wife Elke shared the vision to maintain the integrity of each piece and the connection with the end consumer. 

By 2001 the company had expanded to over 40 employees and a new facility was built to accommodate the increased production demands. Even in the midst of production increases, the creaticity and imagination of Stephen is still evident in every design.  A leader in completely hand made glass, Stephen personally continues to handle all the new product development and oversees the training of all staff.

From a time when the orders were shipped from the dining room table, to our new facility, which houses all elements of Kitras Art Glass, the artistic vision remains the same.  The devoted production of beautiful images into sculptured art and our dedicated sales and service teams strive to provide you with the opportunity to share in the joy of a breathtaking hand blown piece.  Throughout our change, we have been and will always be committed to protect the vision of Stephen Kitras, and the art of creating beautiful one of a kind artistic treasures.

As the retail landscapes continue to change, and our consumer base grows, we have set our path to look in to the future, and predict the right course for our development, our team and most importantly our customers.  On our journey to grow, we will continue to honor our commitment to provide beautiful hand made works of art for everyone to enjoy.
